As discussed in a previous Hankook Tires Review article, the Optimo line is one of the favorite by consumers and tire shops alike. From the H418, to the H727 All-Season tire, Hankook Optimo Tires Review from around the tire world seem to be very positive. That being said, I wanted to devote one entire article to sift through these reviews, not only to bring out the positive aspects of the tires, but to determine if there were any unfavorable things to know about them, in case you were considering putting them on your next car, truck, or minivan. So, appropriately, this article will be a summation of Hankook Optimo Tires Review — hope it provides some valuable information.
First Hankook Optimo Tires Review: H727 All-Season Tire
If you have ever shopped for “all-season tires”, you know that there are plenty on the market, some of which are not necessarily deserving of the all-season title. The H727, from what I have seen, is not one of these, as it has proven itself more than worthy in various conditions. It is comparable to the Yokohama Avid Touring S all-season tire, which has a strong reputation for around $30 more (the Hankook has a $40 rebate). Not to mention, the tires come with a 100,000 mile tread-wear warranty, from the manufacturer.
Second Hankook Optimo Tires Review: H418 All-Season Tire (Grand Touring)
I am generally not a fan of loose terms, such as ‘Grand Touring’, as that generally means very little to me and is more a marketing stunt than an informatively relevant name. It is somewhat understandable with the H418, as the tire has been designed with style in mind (more-so than the other Optimo Tires Lines), making it a decent option for the consumer who seeks to maintain a sporty look on their crossover, van, or sedan. The design does this by having independent symmetry through either two or three grooves. If ever there was a ‘stylish’ tire, the H418 would be it.
Third Hankook Optimo Tires Review: K406
This is one of those tires that is a bit tricky to review. That is because they are quite a bit less-expensive than most tires in its class, and this does affect the performance and endurance, somewhat. Therefore, you get a lot of reviews from people that are upset that they paid a budget-tire price, expecting a top-of-the-line tire. That being said, the Optimo K406 is not a bad tire, in fact, it is used by some car makers as part of the original equipment placed on the tire from the assembly line. Now, you might be thinking, ‘well, sure they would use these tires, because they are cheaper and want to save a buck!’. And you might correct in that statement, however, as far as economical tires go, the K406 is as good as the rest of them, if not better.
Hopefully my Hankook Optimo Tires Review was helpful, as I tried to provide enough detail on the main types in that model. If you are on a budget, and still want an all-season type tire, the K406 certainly is not bad. If you can spare a few more bucks, think about the H418, as you will be pleased by the look and feel of these tires.
Awesome issues here. I’m very satisfied to look your post. Thank you so much and I’m looking ahead to touch you. Will you kindly drop me a mail?
Hoping for other guidance in that field. What recommend for big truck tires from Hankook?
